Residential Sales – Builder Division
*** SALARY WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPLEMENTAL BONUS ***
Join our team as a Residential Salesman and Project Manager! In our builder division you will provide cradle-to-grave handling of residential builder home projects within the framework of the company and in conjunction with the resources and support available staff.
Primary function is to:
- Sales opportunities; generate responsive proposals; negotiate and close work.
- Generate new customer relationships and gain additional sales.
- Field verify and order materials.
- Manage all logistics and coordination items with the customer; and coordinate with OHD-PGH staff where needed (Operations Dept.; Administrative Dept; Service Dept.; et. al.).
- Project Management of sold work is equally as critical to the sales function of this position.
- Attend networking and business group events to further business development.
Qualifications:
- High level of organization
- Must also understand both pricing and P&L as it relates to customers.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate our brand to both small and large groups with marketing tools and manuals.
- Good listening skills.
- An enthusiastic, energetic individual with a commanding presence and strong customer relationship building skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Must be a self-motivated professional with the ability to engage, possessing excellent selling skills.
- Must have strong organizational and analytical skills; responsible time management and timely reporting required.
- Ability to think and operate both short and long term, be able to hit sales numbers without sacrificing long term goals.
Requirements:
- Sales experience required.
- Experience in construction/Must possess a strong mechanical/technical aptitude and be good with numbers.
- An understanding of the construction industry with the ability to read, understand blue prints, specifications and perform take-offs.
- Must possess computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and CSM programs.

Garage Door Technician Residential/Commercial LEADER

EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN NEEDED! LEADER ROLE *** WAGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE ***

Overhead Door of Greater Pittsburgh is a locally owned and operated small business in Pittsburgh, PA. We are a distributor of Overhead Door® product, the invetor of the garage door. The industry is fast-paced, collaborative, demanding and our goal is to provide customers with the best & most timely service as possible.
As a Installation Technician you will:
– Travel to residential or commercial customer’s in a company truck to install overhead doors and operators, dock equipment or operable folding partitions.
– Trouble shoot and perform necessary service work to customers.
– Interact, explain and assist customers in understanding the product.
– Work on large scale commercial construction projects including steel mill, industrial properties and government facilities. Interact with project managers or site supervisors throughtout the project.
– Document completed work including installation details, photos, time spent at the job & any other necessary notes.
– Interact with office staff on topics such as scheduling, status of jobs and further necessary parts needed to complete job.
